This subwoofer is available in 8", 10", or 12" drivers and provides the perfect bass level to complement Episode Surroundscape satellite speakers. Ensure high durability in harsh environments with IP67-rated hardware. Installation is quick and discreet, as the woofer is constructed to be hidden underground. Its sophisticated earth-tone dome effortlessly merges with any outdoor aesthetic, adding rich depth for audio enhancement.
Acting like a piston to an engine, the voice coil provides the motor force to move the speaker in and out. The large diameter keeps the voice coil cool as it drives the woofer in and out. Our 8" subwoofers are crafted with a 2" voice coil, while the 10" and 12" subwoofers are equipped with a 2.5" voice coil. The high excursion moves the air that produces this subwoofer's high output. The 300W power handling of the 8" model and 500W power handling of the 10" and 12" models pair nicely with one of the Episode Hybrid or subwoofer amplifiers.
Rotomolding is a popular material used in portable recreation coolers. Its IP67 ingress protection rating eliminates dust and water intrusion while allowing for reliability in the most demanding moisture conditions, including submersion.
Every part of this subwoofer gets buried underground, with only the ported “mushroom” coming up for air. This means you can add a powerful subwoofer to any landscaping without it being visible or taking up precious patio space.
Episode Landscape speakers are compatible with most DSP amplifiers, but we recommend pairing the system with an Episode 70V/8-ohm IP-Enabled amplifier to guarantee the best performance.

This Episode® Speaker product has a 5-Year Limited Warranty. This warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty shall not apply to products which have been abused, modified or disassembled. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to Snap One or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).
