The E-941Sx series of electromagnetic locks is the ideal way to secure a door against unauthorized entry. When power is applied to the electromagnetic lock, it creates an extremely strong magnetic field. The electromagnet is strongly attracted to the steel armature plate which is mounted on the secured door. Once the electromagnet is deactivated, the secured door will function normally without any residual magnetism.
This electromagnetic door lock offers a robust 1,200-lb. (545kg) holding force, ensuring secure closure for doors in high-security environments. Designed with no residual magnetism, it minimizes wear and tear on components. Featuring MOV surge protection and an anodized aluminum housing (US 28), it provides durability against environmental factors. The built-in status LED indicates the lock's current state—locked or unlocked—for quick visual confirmation. A bond sensor with 3A @ 12V DC dry relay output monitors door status, enhancing security monitoring capabilities. The lock includes adjustable mounting brackets and comprehensive hardware for standard installations, with additional brackets available for unconventional setups. A detachable faceplate facilitates easy access to wiring, and the lock supports 12/24V DC selectable power options, ensuring versatility and compatibility with various access control systems.
