The neo:Ultra Receiver is the perfect partner for a neo:X range of Matrices, with an ultra thin design plus award winning integrated features, the neo:Ultra is the ultimate HDBaseT solution.
Pulse-Eight have been designing and manufacturing their own products in the UK since 2010 and have created industry leading HDBaseT and HDMI products including matrices, splitters and extender sets alongside video and audio accessories that add vital connection and manipulation abilities to the installers’ tool box.
The neo:Ultra Receiver has been designed to be as slim as physically possible, measuring just half an inch thick (13mm), the receiver can be easily hidden out of sight behind the display.
Using the latest technology to distribute a true 4K UHD, DSC (Display Stream Compression) is a visually lossless 4K low latency video stream allowing for a full-colour gamut to the display.
Unlike other compressions, DSC preserves the 10-bit or 12-bit HDR signals rather than reduce to 8-bit then reproduce. This produces the most accurate picture quality available today.
The neo:Ultra HDMI Receiver is powered solely via the HDBaseT link. Simply connect a CAT cable between the receiver and the neo matrix to transfer the video and power with no need for a power supply on the receiver, just the single cable will do it all.
Pulse-Eight has the industry's largest CEC command code library, resulting in seamless integration with the most common sources and displays. Control4 integration is simplified with integrated SDDP and custom features for better usability. And with IR over IP and micro Phoenix ports to allow extension of RS232 control feeds for each HDBaseT output, Pulse-Eight provides solid control system integration on every install.
Distribute Ethernet easily using HDBaseT passthrough, without the need to run multiple cables to each location. The neo:Ultra Receiver allows dual 10/100 ethernet connections alongside video audio and control on a single Cat cable.
The audio from the display can be sent back to enable audio breakout - perfect when using the TV’s in-built apps via HDMI with ARC but require the audio through external speakers. ARC uses the same cable as the HDBaseT link so no additional wires required.
Not just source control, sometimes your control system needs to use IR to control the TV or perhaps another item of equipment in the room, with bi-directional IR, you can connect IR buds* to devices to control remote and local devices.
*Compatible with Control4 and Episode receivers and flashers only.
