The Pioneer® Elite BDP-80FD offers high-speed video and audio playback for 3D Blu-ray discs, DVD, CD, SACD, and wireless streaming, plus direct access to YouTube and other streaming apps like Picasa® photo albums. The new 1.5x View Scan with Audio function allows users to fast forward or rewind for content on a Blu-Ray Disc while keeping the audio understandable. Wi-Fi Direct allows streaming of favorite music and videos without needing a wireless router, and when Wi-Fi Direct is enabled, you can activate Miracast – via a direct button on the remote – to mirror any content from a smartphone, tablet or PC. Through DLNA, you can select, stream and play videos and music stored on a compatible computer, media server, or mobile device. Last, but not least, the user-friendly iControlAV5 app lets users control the BDP-80FD directly from a smartphone. It is freely available from the App Store or via Google Play.
