With support for HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), and Dolby Vision, it provides a spectacular viewing experience from any angle. Users can stream music to any room with FireConnect™, built-in Chromecast, and DTS Play-Fi®, or listen to a number of songs via internet radio and network streaming services, with smooth control on the Pioneer Remote App.
The LX502 supports passthrough for Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) and HDR10 signals. Connect a compatible source to enjoy these latest video standards on a compatible display. All HDMI terminals also support 4K@60 4:4:4 24-bit, Wide Color Gamut (BT.2020) and HDCP 2.2, so you can enjoy premium 4K content with the latest in digital copy protection.

When using Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, different audio pathways cause a phase shift, making the sound feel uncomfortable. Using Phase Control technology, the Reflex Optimizer adjusts this shift, and improves the localization of the sound image by aligning all speakers frequencies with the frequency of the floor speakers. This creates an ideal audio reproduction environment.
Customers can use mobile devices to stream their favorite music, radio, or podcasts to a speaker through built-in Chromecast. Through app-compatible iOS and Android devices, plus Mac, Chromebook, and Windows PCs, Chromecast lets end users control audio from anywhere in the house. Many popular Chromecast-enabled apps are available at g.co/cast/audioapps.
DTS:X leverages object-based audio to enable new immersive and interactive audio experiences. Since DTS:X can automatically adapt the audio to the existing channels and speaker system, no specific speaker layout is required. This receiver offers a limitless flow of streaming music, sports, talk, and news entertainment from internet radio stations and online music services, including Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, TIDAL, and Deezer. Please note: Pandora service is only available in the U.S.
