Incorporating a newly designed, highly integrated System on Chip into our venerable AC-EX100-444 platform, AVPro has extend the boundaries of high-performance video distribution with the first HDBT Spec 3.0, point-to-point, long-distance Category cable extension package, the AC-EX100-444-KIT.
The AC-EX100-444-KIT introduces for the first time eARC into AVPro Edge extenders and touts an AVPro Edge exclusive 18Gbps Bandwidth-Adaptable Output Configuration, for uncompressed signal transfer or selectable compression using our transformative ICT algorithm, both with near-zero latency. Ethernet is augmented to 1Gbps, enhancing RX unit end-point value.
The AC-EX100-444-KIT has evolved into a refined powerhouse of potent features to continue the AVPro Edge tradition for future-forward, backwards-compatible, innovative designs with commercial and residential integrators in mind.
The AC-EX100-444-KIT is designed for up to 18Gbps uncompressed video transport however, if an existing wiring infrastructure proves insufficient for passing 18Gbps, our Invisible Compression Technology (ICT) can be selected for use by a toggle switch, reducing output bandwidth to 10.2Gbps for content display.
The 19 conductor HDMI format was designed to facilitate this process when transporting media between devices, using a total of 8, small gauge wires to handle video information with the bulk of those remaining devoted to system policing.
Configurable, bidirectional control for IR & RS-232 signals provides a carefully nuance to the extenders, consolidating wiring to a solitary pull and mitigating the use of supplemental devices for a clean, efficient installation. Forward commands directly from a control system IR-out port into the TX unit I-PASS input, proceeding to the receiving end and routing directly from the RX unit’s IR-out into the display’s IR input jack (if equipped) or through an attached IR emitter. ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection adds a welcomed layer of defense for all connected products.
USB bandwidth has been improved to 390Mbps, making the AC-EX100-444-KIT an ideal candidate for KVM applications. A connected computer via USB A to the T3 transmitter can be controlled from up to 100 meters away with a mouse or keyboard connected to the R3 receiver. The AC-EX100-444-KIT is a perfect solution for use in schools or any application requiring long distance USB control.
Problem-solving scaling circuitry is incorporated into the AC-EX100-444-KIT transmitter chassis, capable of rescaling UHD 4K (including HDR signals) to 1080P. Heavy lifting by the AC-EX100-444-KIT simplifies deployment and prevents diluted performance in a mixed system.
PCM 2 Channel L/R Audio can be extracted from the transmitter end through the TOSLINK digital output and sent to an AVR or distribution amplifier. NOTE: This port will only work when the source is set to output 2-Channel Audio. If downmixing is required, please see the AVPro Edge AC-AVDM-AUHD.
When required, the transmitter can generate a 1080P or 4K test pattern to aid with wire verification, switcher configuration settings, or source viability.
Latency is less than 8 microseconds, measurable but visually undetectable.
