Dealer Program Policies

III. Products and Services Policies

In the event a Dealer is authorized to sell the following brands, products, or services, the following obligations shall supplement the general terms found in the Dealer Agreement and together shall and supersede any prior understandings between Dealer and the Company with respect to such brands, products, or services:

  • A. Control4
    1. For the Dealer’s to be appointed and continue in good standing as an authorized dealer Snap One’s Control4-branded products, Dealer must:
      1. have at least one Dealer employee that has completed the Automation Programmer training (the “Automation Programming Training”) and obtained Control4 automation programmer certification.
      2. place a minimum opening training bundle order that consists of
        • one controller,
        • one remote,
        • one touchscreen, and
        • one of more the following unit sets:
          • Lighting: Both wireless lighting (dimmer, switch, and keypad) and Vibrant lighting (DCM5 unit, 200W power supply, RGBTW tape (13ft), universal extrusion)
          • Audiovisual distribution: Two Triad PDX series speakers, and either one streaming amplifier or both an audio matrix switch and a power amplifier
          • Surveillance: Luma NVR and two IP cameras.
    2. To the extent Dealer registers an employee for certification training and then cancels, Dealer shall:
      1. Pay to Company the appropriate Cancellation Fee for any early termination of a training reservation with less than 14 days’ written notice of such cancellation to Company as set forth herein. Dealer understands that all reservations for training are final and binding upon receipt of confirmation from Company and cancellations of such reservations without sufficient notice would cause Company irreparable injury. The “Cancellation Fee” shall be: (a) $100 for each seat cancelled within 8 to 14 days of the training date; and (b) $200 for each seat cancelled within 7 days of the training date.
