These Atlona switcher are part of the OmegaTM Series for AV presentation and collaboration. The system features AV switching, USB routing, audio mixing, amplification, and control, making it ideal for the modern classroom and meeting environments.
Ducking lowers program audio levels when the teacher speaks into their microphone connected to the balanced line input. Mute audio when a PA message is detected or with a contact closure. Both features ensure important lesson material and announcements are heard clearly.
Automate system operation based on switcher activity, integration with occupancy sensors, or use with a Velocity control system.
The OME-CS31-SA includes a 3 HDMI switcher supporting common inputs such as laptops, computers, media players, and document cameras routed to an outpost-connected projector or display. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports 4K HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 at HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps.
The system features a four-port USB hub for connecting cameras, speakerphones, interactive displays, and other devices, as well as the ability to switch them between two host devices. Making OME-CS31-SA ideal for use with popular video conferencing and UC (unified communications) platforms.
The OME-CS31-SA offers three line inputs for connecting a variety of audio devices. Its onboard mixer supports individual-level adjustments of the line inputs, de-embedded HDMI audio, and USB audio. The integrated amplifier delivers either two channels of 25 watts or a single channel of 50 watts into 4 or 8 ohms.
The OME-CS31-SA can provide control to a display through TCP/IP, RS-232, or CEC*, without the need for a separate control system. With automatic display control, the switcher can trigger a display to power on automatically whenever a laptop or other device is connected. At the end of the presentation, when the presenter disconnects, the OME-CS31-SA forces the display to power off. Alternatively, the switcher can trigger based on occupancy with the Atlona AT-OCS-900N or another sensor connected to its digital I/O.
If a physical user interface is desired for system operation, the OME-CS31-SA can be controlled by Atlona AT-VKP-8E keypad controller or a Velocity touch panel control system.
* Consumer Electronics Control (CEC): Atlona does not guarantee the function of CEC with all televisions. We can confirm proper operation with many current Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, and LG TVs. Many manufacturers do not support the CEC command when sent from a source and older TVs use proprietary commands. Atlona only supports those TVs that follow CEC command structure from HDMI 1.2a and support the command when issued by a source. We encourage any dealer to get evaluation product from Atlona prior to designing a system around this control technology or be prepared to use other methods to control their displays if Atlona CEC is not compatible with the installed displays.
The OME-CS31-SA also includes audio integration capabilities for classroom environments that ensure lesson material and announcements are heard clearly, including:
