This mighty Binary™ HDMI Extender goes the distance – transmitting up to 4K video and 7.1 channels of lossless audio – up to 330' over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. Save valuable install time thanks to bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC), which eliminates the need to fit a bulky power supply behind the TV, and “plug and play” technology that bypasses frustrating EQ settings.
When you want to extend audio and video signals over long distances without sacrificing resolution or quality, a Binary™ HDBaseT Receiver is what you need. This one goes the distance, receiving up to 4K Ultra HD@30Hz video and 7.1 channels of lossless audio over a single CAT cable (when paired with a B-520 HDBaseT transmitter). It works with dedicated HDBaseT transmitters, as well as products whose transmitters are built in (such as B-520 matrix switchers) – providing flexibility and interoperability on the job. Plug and play technology allows this product to bypass frustrating EQ and EDID settings, and for the finishing touch it includes bi-directional IR for complete system integration. Note: The receiver is an in-wall version and fits in dual gang wall plate.
This extender offers full support of 4K@30Hz (including HDMI® with 3D), Deep Color (36bit) and HDCP 2.2, as well as support for Dolby® True HD, Dolby® Digital Plus, DTS™-HD Master and LPCM audio formats. Please note, 4K support varies by distance and cable type. Please refer to specifications for further details.
This unit features Power over Cable, meaning that when it’s used with B-520-MTRX-230 unit, the matrix supplies power to the receiver. If the unit is connected to B-520-TX-230-IR - which is not POC capable - an additional B-PS-12VDC-2A power supply is required. If there's no outlet near your receiver, or you just don't want to play "hide the bulky power supply," you can remotely power the extender. Everything you need is in the box: both the removable screw terminal and the female power supply adapter, so just add a 16- or 18-gauge 2-conductor wire, and you're ready to go. The power supply can easily go in a rack or other out-of-the-way place.
Having more options is never a bad thing. That’s why this wall plate receiver is specifically designed to fit any dual-gang J-box. It comes with a basic white decora plate, but you can swap it out for whatever color matches the install.
To simplify the install even further, you can use a single power supply for both transmitter and receiver. Just purchase our WPS-ACC-PWR-F and WPS-ACC-PWR-1X2.
With Bi-Directional Power over Cable (PoC), you can send power over the same Cat5e/6 cable that extends your video, audio, and control signals. This means you only need one power supply - and you can put it at the head end or display to get it completely out of the way. Plus, the extender features screw-down power plugs, so you never have to worry about getting service calls because a plug fell out when the TV was moved.
Thanks to bi-directional IR, you get no-hassle integration with a variety of control systems, and you can easily send IR signals from the TV location back to cable boxes, DVD players, and other source equipment at the head end. The IR connections feature active circuitry that supports a wide variety of IR and control system types.
The dip switch gives you better install flexibility by providing power when connected to an IR receiver or by shutting off when connected to control systems.
Intelligent circuit design, perfected through extensive hardware testing, has resulted in a robust product with excellent ESD and surge protection that exceeds CE Level 3 standards. During development, every connection was tested with an ESD gun and a lightning simulator. They were hit with ESD at 15KV and surges up to 1600V.
