This mighty Binary™ HDMI Extender goes the distance – transmitting HDMI signals up to 330' over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. Save valuable install time thanks to bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC), which eliminates the need to fit a bulky power supply behind the TV, and “plug and play” technology that bypasses frustrating EQ settings.
And say goodbye to clock stretching issues. An embedded circuit ensures that communication between the extender and cable box is crystal clear. For the icing on the cake, you get robust control system integration that includes bi-directional IR, RS-232 and IP. Note: The receiver is an in-wall version and fits in dual gang wall plate.
This extender features an embedded circuit that solves clock stretching issues, when HDBaseT extenders are paired with some cable boxes.
This extender offers full support of HDMI® with 3D, Deep Color (36bit) and HDCP 1.4, as well as support for Dolby® True HD, Dolby® Digital Plus, DTS™-HD Master and LPCM audio formats. Please note, 4K support varies by distance and cable type. Please refer to specifications for further details.
To make things easier for you, we’ve included output for HDMI at the transmitter, eliminating the need for an external splitter device. One device – many uses.
The extender pair comes with Power over Cable (POC), meaning the extender can be powered from either side. There’s also an option for remote powering. If there's no outlet near your receiver, or you just don't want to play "hide the bulky power supply," you can remotely power the extender. Everything you need is in the box: both the removable screw terminal and the female power supply adapter, so just add a 16- or 18-gauge 2-conductor wire, and you're ready to go. The power supply can easily go in a rack or other out-of-the-way place.
Thanks to bi-directional IR, RS-232, and IP, you get no-hassle integration with a variety of control systems, and you can easily send IR signals from the TV location back to cable boxes, DVD players, and other source equipment at the head end. The IR connections feature active circuitry that supports a wide variety of IR and control system types.
Having more options is never a bad thing. That’s why this wall plate receiver is specifically designed to fit any dual-gang J-box. It comes with a basic white decora plate, but you can swap it out for whatever color matches the install.
The dip switch gives you better install flexibility by providing power when connected to an IR receiver or by shutting off when connected to control systems.
You never know when a new TV or BluRay player is going to throw you a curve ball. Upgradable firmware gives our software team the ability to update the system to handle any issues. Just flip the switch on the RS-232 port and upgrade on-site.
Intelligent circuit design, perfected through extensive hardware testing, has resulted in a robust product with excellent ESD and surge protection that exceeds CE Level 3 standards. During development, every connection was tested with an ESD gun and a lightning simulator. They were hit with ESD at 15KV and surges up to 1600V.
