Our Binary 4K HDR HDMI splitter is the only 1x2 HDMI splitter you’ll need on any job. It’s the ultimate tool to address the most common issues and problems in HDMI distribution. In addition to its core capability to distribute full 18Gbps (4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and all HDR formats) to two HDMI outputs, it can simultaneously distribute 4K HDR content to a 4K HDR capable display and downscale a second output to an older 1080p display, addressing a major challenge.
You’ll no longer need to limit a source to 1080p to ensure compatibility with a mixed 1080p and 4K HDR system. Simplifying system design even further, HDMI audio, via an optical audio breakout, can be extracted for routing to another audio distribution solution. All integrators know that sources and displays can be a challenge to sync up. With so many flexible options built into this splitter, we are confident that you will find even more ways to use it than we have even anticipated.

Residential and commercial installs alike benefit from a simple method to split a signal between two TVs. Our Binary B-260 splitter can handle the full 18Gbps of bandwidth for the latest HDR formats, including Dolby Vision 60Hz, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG.
Also, if you’ve ever had a customer who wants 4K HDR content, but isn’t willing to invest in all new hardware, you can enable downscaling on HDMI output #2 to share the best 4K HDR content, while still supporting legacy 1080p A/V receivers, extenders, and displays. Or, your customers can enjoy 4K quality on a display, and route 1080p HDMI content to a legacy 1080p AVR to retain the best audio experience.
Avoid HDMI source and display compatibility issues that always pop up at the worst time by controlling the EDID. By independently controlling the audio and video portion of the EDID, you can set a cap on the maximum resolution to avoid the blank screen that sometimes results from your customers changing settings or sources. Also, by fixing the video portion of the EDID to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, for example, you can ensure that you are offering your customers the latest sources to display the best available content. Older extenders can be overloaded by newer sources and displays, and our splitter lets you prevent this issue by limiting the bandwidth of the output.
With an optical audio breakout to extract HDMI input audio, our Binary 4K HDR HDMI splitter is a great option to eliminate the need for an additional extraction device. You can also use it to route audio to a sound bar, local amplifier, or in the rack to a whole-house audio system. Also, the audio EDID function ensures that only 2-channel stereo passes when that’s all your system can support, preventing compatibility issues.
Our Binary 4K HDR HDMI Splitter won’t take up valuable space. Our 1x2 splitter with industry-leading functionality is just over half of an inch thick and has a footprint the size of a smartphone. You can easily bolt our splitter to the side of a rack or fit it into a VersaBox™, giving your customers access to the content they want where they want it.
