With Ultra HD (4K/60p/4:4:4) upscaling/pass-through and HDR/BT.2020 standards ready, images are more impressive than ever. The Elite SC-LX701 integrates Dolby’s groundbreaking surround technology and is compatible with 7.2.4ch*, 9.2.2ch*, 7.2.2ch, 5.2.4ch, 3.1.2ch, and 2.1.2ch configurations for Dolby Atmos. It works by adding height to the sonic landscape, creating a true 3D, multi-dimensional space that puts you directly inside the experience. Optimized room calibration through the built-in MCACC Pro feature, in conjunction with Atmos-enabled speakers like the Elite Home Theater System or dedicated ceiling-mounted speakers, reproduces sound in smooth, curving, and realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by top-firing Atmos drivers. Pioneer’s Class D3 delivers full power across all nine channels simultaneously for a total of 810 watts (8 ohms, 1 kHz @ 1.0% THD). MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration) Pro takes room calibration to a new level of precision. Further enhancing the three-dimensional realism of the Elite’s Atmos-enabled system as well as all of your other audio sources, MCACC Pro calibrates your room’s sound using a microphone to monitor the acoustic environment and an equalizer to optimize and precision-tune each speaker to the room.
Experience immersive, interactive 3-D realism like never before. The next-generation surround sound format, available as a no-cost firmware update, creates an amazing three-dimensional sound field that reproduces the movement of sound in space. It automatically adapts the signal to existing channels and speakers and requires no specific speaker layout. Plus, Zone 2 provides digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) for optical, coax, and HDMI (PCM) inputs.
This receiver offers a limitless flow of streaming music, sports, talk, and news entertainment from internet radio stations and online music services, including Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, TIDAL, and Deezer. Please note: Pandora service is only available in the U.S.
