With advanced multi-zone features and effortless connectivity, the Elite SC-97 AV offers advanced Super Resolution video scaling with 4K Ultra HD pass-through with HDCP 2.2, a USB-DAC for jitter-free digital networked audio streaming, and the immersive new object-based DTS:X surround-sound format.
The Elite PE-SC-97 integrates Dolby’s groundbreaking surround technology and is compatible with 7.2.4ch*, 9.2.2ch*, 7.2.2ch and 5.2.4ch configurations for Dolby Atmos. It works by adding height to the sonic landscape, creating a true 3D, multi-dimensional space that puts you directly inside the experience. Optimized room calibration through the built-in MCACC Pro feature, in conjunction with Atmos-enabled speakers like the Elite Home Theater System or dedicated ceiling-mounted speakers, reproduces sound in smooth, curving, and realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by top-firing Atmos drivers. Dolby Atmos brings new life to traditional soundtracks and music, putting sounds into motion to deliver the full impact of the performance. *External amplifier required.
Extreme power with extreme efficiency are hallmarks of the Elite PE-SC-97, thanks to Class D3 (Direct Energy HD) amplifiers that deliver power in a cool running, lightweight package—generating less heat and energy loss than traditional Class AB designs, while consuming a fraction of the power and with greater reliability. Pioneer’s Class D3 delivers full power across all nine channels simultaneously for a total of 810 watts (8 ohms, 1 kHz @ 1.0% THD). With a direct signal path and no EMI filters, feedback loops or current limiting, these amps can handle low-impedance speaker loads that challenge lesser receivers.

Like Pioneer, AIR Studios respects the artist’s intention and believes that faithfully reproducing what was originally created in the studio is the critical objective of the finest home theater system.
With Pioneer's free app, you can use your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad as a remote to control basic functions. The app is also compatible with Android. Enjoy smooth control from your device, with support for 8 languages.
