Builders and designers will love how the ES-500T's thin bezel look matches the rest of the décor, such as contemporary low-voltage and "high-hat" lighting. Combined with a bezel that’s up to 1” smaller in diameter than the competition, these speakers virtually disappear into the ceiling. Installation is clean and effortless thanks to a magnetic grill that quickly snaps into place using strong neodymium magnets.
In this 500-series model, our speaker designers have combined the low frequency responsiveness of a 6.5" or 8” injection-molded polypropylene woofer with a 1" ferro-fluid cooled, fabric dome tweeter. Bringing it all together is a custom 2nd-order crossover network that ensures a precise performance every time.
With competitive products, slight variations in sheetrock can sometimes leave a gap between the grill and the ceiling. Our unique bezel design and oversized dog toggles close the gap, keeping the speaker firmly planted to the ceiling. Gold-plated spring terminals mean that even if you're on a ladder, you can still connect the wires effortlessly.
With the ES-500T, you can quickly and independently adjust each tweeter's output by 3db to compensate for rooms with more or less sound absorbing materials.
Lots of tweeters can be aimed, but ours can be aimed with ease.
