ASPEQT is an innovative approach to room response optimization intended to offer residential integrators a fast, high-quality method for tuning an audio system's response to acoustic interactions between loudspeakers and room attributes. Used in conjunction with Acurus immersive processors, integrators can use ASPEQT to easily solve room response optimization challenges with this simple, quick, and accurate tool.
Combined with ASPEQT, any Acurus processor will achieve incredible new heights of audio enjoyment. Simple and accurate, ASPEQT will measure, analyze, and automatically update the processors audio characteristics for the speaker layout and room being measured.
Running ASPEQT is easy via the the onscreen user interface. The entire process is very intuitive and there is no prior acoustical knowledge required. By following the onscreen instructions, ASPEQT analyzes how the room responds to your speaker layout, and will update the calculated delay, level, phase and PEQ parameters to any Acurus processor. ASPEQT produces graphs showing the before and after curves. The system can also produce an ASPEQT Calibration Report, which dealers and installers can provide to their customers.
The hard-case kit is composed of four professional-grade omnidirectional microphones and stands, plus cables to connect them all, and a mic box that connects wirelessly to a mini-computer which supports both ASPEQT and the Acurus processor (MUSE or ACT 4).
Developed by Acurus' internal engineering staff in Indianapolis, Indiana, ASPEQT brings completely unique, state-of-the-art acoustic measurement innovations to the residential systems integrator’s toolkit.
